Antioch Baptist Church

Welcome Home!

My Dearest Church Family,

In an effort to reopen the church safely and wisely we your staff and Deacon body have unanimously established the following TEMPORARY plan for Welcoming You all home to Antioch by utilizing the best information we could gather and seeking the Lord’s will above all. This plan allows for ALL mindsets and we beg you not to pressure ANYONE at any time for the choices they make in when and how to come back to church, simply do what is right for you and allow others the same privilege in keeping with Ephesians 4:2.
Beginning on June 7, 2020 we will offer 2 services for you to choose from-an 8:45 am service will be primarily for those who consider themselves at higher risk. Both the sanctuary and fellowship hall will be available to you. If you choose to attend the early service you will be parking in spots to the left of the sanctuary ONLY- in the paved lot -there will be attendants to guide you. Everyone will enter through the sanctuary or parlor doors ONLY and exit through the fellowship hall side ONLY Unless you need to use the ramp.
If you choose the second service that will begin at 11:00 am and Both the sanctuary and fellowship hall will be available to you also. You will park in spots to the right of the sanctuary in the gravel lot and field and in the overflow lot across the street ONLY – there will be attendants to guide you. Again -Everyone will enter through the sanctuary or parlor doors ONLY and exit through the fellowship hall side ONLY.
Our beloved church will be thoroughly sanitized and disinfected EACH week before all services, and there will be masks, sanitizer and stickers to indicate you do not wish to shake hands if you desire to utilize any of these items.
If none of these options are best for you at this time we will of course continue to broadcast as we always have.
During this time of transition there will be NO Sunday School or Wednesday evening services but that will be reimplemented as soon as reasonably possible.
If things change, we will gladly keep you posted but for now we appreciate your patience and cooperation as we begin to head back home safely. May God bless you all as you make your choices as to when to come back and may God bless our church as we forge ahead.

Love you all-Pastor Dave
